1. What the Central Furry Calendar is

The Central Furry Calendar is a listing service and nothing more. We publish a calendar of furmeets run by independent groups in Central Florida so that people can find out what is happening and when.

We do not organize, run, manage, host, staff, supervise, fund, insure or secure any of the events listed on this calendar. We are not the promoter, sponsor or operator of any furmeet. We do not attend in any official capacity, we have no authority over what happens at an event, and we have no control over any venue, its condition, or its management.

2. Events belong to their organizers

Every furmeet listed here is an independent event, wholly owned and operated by the group or individual who runs it. Those organizers are solely and fully responsible for their own events, including:

• planning, staffing, supervision and conduct at the event;
• the venue, its safety, its suitability and any permission needed to use it;
• compliance with all applicable laws, ordinances, venue rules and licensing;
• age verification and enforcement of any age restriction shown on a listing;
• insurance, permits, safety planning and emergency response;
• the accuracy of the information they submit to this calendar; and
• the behavior of attendees and anything that happens before, during or after the event.

A listing on this calendar is not an endorsement, a recommendation, a vetting, a safety assurance, or any statement that an event is well run, lawfully operated or suitable for you.

3. Release of liability

By using this website, you agree to release, waive, discharge and hold harmless the Central Furry Calendar, its administrators, moderators, technical staff, volunteers and contributors from any and all claims, demands, damages, injuries, losses, costs, liabilities and legal actions of any kind arising out of or relating to any activity, incident or occurrence at, in connection with, or on the way to or from any furmeet or event listed on this calendar.

This release applies whether the claim is based on personal injury, property damage, harassment, illness, financial loss, the conduct of any attendee or organizer, the condition of any venue, or anything else, and whether the claim arises in contract, in tort, by statute or otherwise.

If you have a dispute or a claim relating to an event, it is between you and that event's organizer. We are not a party to it.

4. Accuracy of listings

Event details are supplied by the organizers of each furmeet. We review submissions before they are published, but that review is an editorial check. It is not verification. Dates, times, venues, prices, age restrictions and other details may be wrong, may change without notice, or may be cancelled after publication.

The site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Always confirm details with the organizer before travelling to an event.

5. Age-restricted events

Some events are marked 18+ or 21+. Those restrictions are set and enforced by the organizer, not by us. You are responsible for meeting any legal age requirement, and organizers are responsible for enforcing it. We make no representation that any restriction is enforced at any event.

6. Using this site

You agree not to use this site to break the law, to interfere with its operation or security, to attempt unauthorized access to any account or system, to scrape or republish its contents at scale without permission, or to submit information you know to be false.

7. Organizer accounts

Accounts are issued by administrators to furmeet organizers. If you hold one, you are responsible for keeping your password and any second-factor device secure, for everything done through your account, and for the accuracy of what you submit. We may suspend or remove an account, or any listing, at our sole discretion and without notice.

8. Content you submit

You keep ownership of the text and images you submit. By submitting them you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce and distribute that content on this site, in our calendar feed and in announcements about the calendar. You confirm you have the right to grant that license, including for any artwork or photograph you upload.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Central Furry Calendar and the people who run it will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or opportunity, arising from your use of this site or from any event listed on it.

Where liability cannot lawfully be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Central Furry Calendar, its administrators and its technical staff against any claim, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of this site, your breach of these terms, or any event you organize or attend.

11. Links and external groups

This site links to third-party websites and chat groups, including group invite links supplied by organizers. We do not control them, we are not responsible for their content, moderation or safety, and a link is not an endorsement. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that service's own terms.

12. Privacy

This site does not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers. We store the information organizers provide for their listings and accounts, and standard server logs. We do not sell personal information.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms at any time. The revised version takes effect when it is published on this page, and the date below shows when it was last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute relating to this website will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida.
