A Calendar Rules for Furmeets and Events

• The furmeet owner and event hosts must be 18 years old or above.
• All members of the furmeet's administration should be in good standing with most of the furmeets already on the calendar. (i.e. have not been banned)
• Group chats and events must be generally safe for work. Kink, fetish, and sexually-focused furmeets and events are NOT eligible to be included in the calendar.
• Furmeets and events should be open to the public to join. Furmeets and events that are "invitation only" or restrict attendance to friends are NOT eligible to be included in the calendar.
• CFC administration has the right to deny for any reason any prospective furmeets and events from the calendar, as well as remove existing furmeets and events.

B Age Restriction Rules

• Furmeets and their events are assumed to allow participants aged 14 and above, unless they indicate otherwise. You must have moderation standards that maintain the appropriate environment for this audience.
• Furmeets may restrict participation to those aged 18 and above. Moderation can be relaxed accordingly for an 18+ audience but maintaining a general SFW environment is still required. Your furmeet and events will be marked as 18+ on the calendar. You must take reasonable measures to ensure individuals below 18 do not participate in your furmeet.
• Furmeets may also restrict participation to those aged 21 and above, but only if the restriction is necessary due to the nature of the group's activities being legally restricted to individuals 21 and above. Groups with events where alcohol is readily available are one such example. Your furmeet and events will be marked as 21+ on the calendar. Reasonable measures must be in place to ensure only individuals of age may participate.
• Events hosted at venues with age restrictions must enforce the same restriction to participants.
• Furmeets and events with different age restrictions than those mentioned above are NOT eligible to be included in the calendar.

C Expectations for Furmeet Moderation

Furmeets should maintain good moderation practices for their group chats and events. This includes:

• Ensure the safety of everyone in your furmeet and at your events.
• Remove content and discussions that are inappropriate for minors if they are present in your chats and events.
• Adopt zero tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia, and other similar types of discriminatory and hateful behavior or ideologies inside and outside the furmeet and their events.
• Have policy in place to remove individuals who have credible evidence of having participated in zoophilia, pedophilia, or sexual abuse and harrassment from your furmeet and its events.

CFC does not intend to monitor groups to ensure that these standards are being followed. However, if CFC administration receives legitimate complaints of a furmeet's failure to maintain these standards, they may be removed from the calendar.

Your references must have experience with, and be able to vouch for your leadership style, your ethical conduct, and your handling of conflict and boundaries. References should be from leaders within the furry community. References from admins of furmeets already on the calendar are ideal. Keep in mind these individuals will be contacted, so ensure they are aware they will receive a message from our staff before submitting your application.

If you are unable to provide a suitable reference, please write "N/A". If the rest of your application meets our expectations, a staff member will contact you to discuss alternatives.
